Etsy Made Local is a national, Etsy supported, grassroots initiative celebrating makers, collectors and artisans in local communities across the UK. From coast to coast, cities and towns will be participating in this weekend-long event from 2nd-4th December, 2016.
Do you have a passion for community? A flair for event coordination? A love of all things vintage and handmade?
Now is your chance to join Etsy sellers around the UK in hosting an Etsy Made Local event in your town!
At last year’s Etsy Made Local, 12 inspiring and pioneering Etsy Teams (Nottingham Etsy Team, The Portsmouth & Southsea Consortium, Glasgow Etsy Team, Dorset Etsy Team, Cardiff and Valleys Members, Etsy Cambridge, Brighton Sellers’ Team, Team Leeds, Etsy Sellers in Bristol, Sheffield Sellers on Etsy, IDEAS Birmingham, London Local Team) organised a beautiful Christmas market in their local community.
Etsy artisans sold their handmade wares and vintage goods to thousands of local Christmas shoppers at markets and pop-up shops around the UK, with hosts helping to showcase the talent of local designer makers and the spirit of their communities.
Following on from the incredible response in 2015, we’re doing it all again this year and today we are announcing an open call to Etsy Team Captains and Leaders across the UK to become Etsy Made Local hosts.
Would you like to host Etsy Made Local in your town in 2016? Register your interest here and we’ll be in touch with more information. Applications closes on May 2nd 2016.
Update: We are now in the process of looking over applications, we will be in touch regarding the next steps!
