Hothouse 6 is open for business! Etsy is excited to partner with the Crafts Council on their latest programme of professional development support for designer-makers.

The Crafts Council launched Hothouse in 2011. Since then 163 makers have benefitted from the programme, helping them to establish a strong foundation for their craft business.

Many of these talented new makers are Etsy sellers… including a few familiar faces from Four Corners of Craft, our upcoming exhibition of contemporary craft for the London Design Festival this September.

If you’re a talented designer-maker and feeling inspired, check out the Hothouse application details below.

Applications for Hothouse are now open!

The programme includes ten one-day workshops, a two-day residential, six hours of 1:1 mentoring and connects you to a national network of makers and organisations. It provides you with the tools to grow a sustainable and successful business when you need them most – at the start of your career.

Find out more and apply on the Crafts Council website. Deadline 11 August.
