On Thursday the 6th March we have our first Etsy UK pop-up shop at West Elm, London – it’s all rather exciting! Handpicked by Heart Home magazine editors, Arianna Trapani and Carole King, were 13 local Etsy Sellers who will be brought together for the event along with their wonderful products.

Meet some of the Sellers:

Rebecca Kiff – RebeccaKiffGallery.etsy.com

Rebecca sells delicately illustrated paper goods and accessories, inspired by nature and scenes of everyday life.

“I was born in London. I first learnt my craft at the age of five, painting pictures of Winnie the Pooh. I spend my days in my studio, creating original ink and watercolor paintings, commissioned illustrations, and custom collaboration work.  All of my work is hand-painted, then scanned digitally, to create prints, products and work for clients. I also sell hand painted originals. I started selling on Etsy because I loved the warm and friendly vibe, as well as being inspired by the fab collection of sellers. Etsy can give you some amazing opportunities and I feel proud to be listed as an Etsy maker/seller.”

“I think my greatest milestone so far is being asked to participate in the upcoming Pop Up Shop at West Elm: It will be a fantastic event, showcasing some very lovely and talented sellers. It will be great to meet other makers and people who are interested in our work – a wonderful opportunity for small business owners like myself!”

“When I left university I had not a clue what I wanted to do as a job. After drifting for a while working as an audio typist, as a barmaid, and finally for a company called Lazy Oaf. It was here, working for an up and coming clothing and accessories brand, that I really got bitten by the creative bug and realised that it was possible to set up your own business from scratch and make it work. After trialling jewellery designs – it was decided that I should set up my own Etsy shop – that was two years ago and I’ve never looked back!”

“It’s such an honour to be chosen to be involved in such an awesome event, organised by such inspiring companies. I’m so excited to sell my items in a shop on Tottenham Court Road and to meet all the other sellers – there are so many super talented designer makers involved, it’s going to be hard not to spend all my pennies!”
