Erin Green is the Country Lead for Etsy Canada. Based in Toronto, Erin oversees a growing team of Etsy Admin to spread the good word coast to coast (from St. John’s, Newfoundland to Victoria, BC).
Etsy Wholesale, currently in beta, is an online platform for independent boutiques and larger retailers to connect with and buy from Etsy’s community of artists and designers. Buyers can discover fresh talent and find well-crafted products for their stores that are hard to source elsewhere. Up here in Canada — where the ground is finally starting to thaw after the world’s longest winter — we’re excited to announce a new wholesale relationship with Indigo.
Indigo is a “Made in Canada” company that has grown to become our nation’s biggest book retailer. Tod Morehead, the Executive VP & Group General Merchandising Manager at Indigo, selected seven Etsy sellers to be featured at the store’s Toronto Eaton Centre location (as well as online here).
Tod shared this with us: “Selecting Etsy products and sellers to feature alongside Indigo’s home décor and lifestyle offerings was an exciting process. Offering our customers daily inspiration with life enriching products is a key part of what we do, so we’re thrilled to share this curated collection.”
The collection will include map-of-Canada cutting boards from Richwood Creations, linen tea towels from STUDIOPATRO, chic fashion illustrations from The Aestate, and porcelain apothecary bottles and vases from honeycomb studio.

Tea towels from STUDIOPATRO on display in Toronto.
Indigo will also carry hand-lettered calligraphy chalkboard cards from Lily & Val, party confetti and gift tags from Knot & Bow, and hand-poured soy candles from Toronto’s own Smells Like Canada, including scents like Muskoka Campfire, Toronto Smoke, Fraser Valley Wood, and Up North S’mores (in case you were ever wondering what it smells like up here!).
We’re proud to help Etsy sellers grow their businesses and connect with retailers like Indigo, that celebrate independent makers. To these pioneers we say: congrats! And for those of you living in the Toronto area, we invite you to pop on over to Indigo at the Eaton Centre, and check out our latest pop-up for yourself.

This pop-up has made quite a splash! I heard about it first on CBC radio. It's great to raise the profile of Etsy in Canada. Congrats to our local Toronto seller SmellsLikeCanada! I know a lot of other locals shops would love to be represented and would also be a great fit.

How exciting is that! It is a great way for Etsy Sellers to have a chance for their treasures to the world. All woman like on of a kind designs made by a designer. I am a new shop just learning the ropes. ;)
