This month’s Meet and Make gatherings promise imagination and relaxation in creative company. Try your hand at sewing a creature of your own invention at Craft Night in Los Angeles on March 7, and concoct DIY bath and beauty products at Craft Bar Chicago on March 1. Come on out and meet your creative neighbors, and make something great!
Craft Bar in Chicago: Pamper Yourself
Feeling a little blah from the cold weather? Escape the winter doldrums by indulging in a fabulous DIY treat! March’s Meet and Make theme with Craft Bar Chicago is “Pamper Yourself” and we are ready to slather on the goodies. Guest artist Wizard At Work will be joining us to make personalized mini soaps, upcycled lavender eye pillows and sachets, and a 5-minute sugar scrub.
As always, all supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own project to work on. The $5 admission covers all materials and instruction for the projects. Plus, don’t forget to fortify yourself at our bar with a drink and a snack while you craft. Registration required.
When: Friday, March 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. CT
Where: Mignonette, 1747 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60657
