by Julie Schneider handmade and vintage goods

Meet & Make is a series of hands-on creative community events hosted each month by partner organizations, with support from Etsy. For July’s roster, join us in San Francisco for a DIY bath and beauty workshop, and in Los Angeles to try your hand at a Japanese weaving technique.

Please note that the regular Meet & Make programs in Chicago and San Jose will resume in August.

Craft Lab in San Francisco: DIY Scrubs

Join artist and SF Etsy team captain Katy Atchison for a DIY workshop at the Museum of Craft and Design. This month you’ll learn how to make a set of sugar and salt scrubs with gift-ready packaging, while learning about the natural benefits of each. All materials included.

Admission for this 21+ event is $10, or $5 if you’re a museum member or a Yelp member, and includes supplies, instruction, and beer generously sponsored by Lagunitas Brewing Company. Please note that registration is highly recommended, and ticket sales end on July 11 at 4 p.m. PT.
