Update: This just in from the fine folks at the Brooklyn Flea, for $50 for the Etsy booth, you get a table in a 10×10 booth, with tent and table provided! You couldn’t ask for a better deal – good luck!
New York foodies beware! Williamsburg, Brooklyn is about to get a whole lot fatter with the Brooklyn Flea’s new all-food Smorgasburg market, held every Saturday starting May 21, 2011. The Flea is currently searching for tasty culinary treats to add to their already confirmed roster, which includes a farmer’s market and a children’s play area by Moomah.
To further their mission to connect shoppers to local artists and community members, Smorgasburg will host an Etsy-only booth each Saturday at the market. They are looking for top notch handmade and vintage sellers to complement their foodie offerings. So if you sell kitchenware, ceramics, aprons, pot holders, recipe books, or any other food-related items that are vintage or handmade, you can apply for the Etsy booth here.
Smorgasburg will take place every Saturday, beginning May 21, 2011 at 27 North 6th Street (btw. Kent Ave. + East River) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
