We’re taking Etsy Seller Education on the road this year! I’ll be attending many of the conferences below (or you’ll see another friendly Etsy Admin face, if not mine) to share tips about running your small, creative business online.
Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs – August 5 – 7 in San Francisco, CA.
Learn how to turn your passion into your living at the second annual Conference of Creative Entrepreneurs! CCE is appropriate for all current or aspiring creative professionals, including fine artists, designers, illustrators, crafters, food artists and more.
Creative Connection – Sepember 15 – 17 in St. Paul, MN.
Nancy Soriano and Jo Packham of Where Women Create find creative women entrepreneurs even more exciting today than when they first met seven years ago. Their vision of what that community might look like, coupled with a can-do attitude and oodles of business know-how, is the driving force. Prepare yourself for social media and business workshops, roundtables, pitch slams and more!
Hello Etsy – September 17 – 18 in Berlin, Germany.
This summit will be a hands-on gathering for small business owners who want to connect with their peers, learn the skills to find success and independence, and be part of the movement to build human-scale economies.
School House Craft – September 23 – 25 in Seattle, WA.
A three day conference where students will gather to attend classes from speakers who are getting straight A’s in the small business DIY community! Schoolhouse Craft will also be an opportunity to network and build friendships with other students. Students will build lasting relationships to help support their small business!
Summit of Awesome – October 20 – 22 in Baltimore, MD.
This annual conference brings together crafters and makers from across the U.S. to learn, grow, and be prosperous in today’s economy. With a desire to help sustain the handmade movement and support independent crafters within the community, Hello Craft welcomes independent business owners and makers to the 2011 Summit of Awesome.
