I wanted to let you know that in a few weeks, we will be shutting down the officially supported ability to migrate your team from the old Etsy Teams system to the new platform. As you may know, when we first launched the new Etsy Teams site feature (back in November of last year – read the announcement on the blog here http://blog.etsy.com/en/2010/a-new-and-improved-home-for-etsy-teams/ ) we spent some time running a migration process for pre-existing Etsy teams where we enabled them to bring their team's name, information and membership roster over to the new system. Our goal was to make the adjustment process as smooth and easy as possible. Most captains have completed their team's migration. But, if you haven't migrated your team yet, do it soon! We've set July 15th as our migration deadline.
Ending support for the migration doesn't mean that the few remaining teams cannot get set up as new Etsy Teams! It will just take a little more time to do so. Also, just a reminder that you can always start a new Etsy Team. More about that here:http://www.etsy.com/help/article/344
