Oh, how I’ve missed seeing your crafty faces on Monday evenings! After the rigmarole of moving the Etsy Labs to the 7th floor of the same ol’ 55 Washington Street building in DUMBO, I’m happy to say that we’ll be back on schedule this coming Monday for a valentine-making Craft Night. While nesting into our new home will be an ongoing process of installing and unveiling, I am dancing with excitement to announce that we’ll have our very own Magnolia Photo Booth at the Labs, debuting this Monday. Pop in the booth to snap a picture of you and your handmade valentine and be sure to say hello to Peter Tower himself, the Magbooth frontiersman who will be on hand to launch the maiden voyage of this fair photo-taking contraption at the Etsy Labs.
Heidi Kenney, the artist behind My Paper Crane and author of Every Day’s a Holiday: Year-Round Crafting With Kids, will be joining us to lead a Valentine’s Day card-making project, and we’ll be collecting cards to donate to Citymeals-on-Wheels for our Special Delivery project. Stop by to say hello, see the new space, take a picture in the new photo booth and craft for a good cause!
Where: 55 Washington Street, Suite 712 (7th floor) Brooklyn, New York, 11201
When: Monday, January 31. Drop in between 4-8 p.m.
Webcast: For those of you who can’t make it in person, we’ll be doing a live demo via Livestream (instead of the Virtual Labs). You can check out the feed right on Etsy Community page.

Craft Bar With Etsy Labs at the Museum of Craft and Folk Art in San Francisco
Join us on for the opening night of the vibrant exhibition “E is for Everyone: Celebrating Sister Corita,” and a special related Craft Bar with Etsy Labs.
In celebration of Sister Corita, the legendary radical 1960s nun, teacher, activist and pop artist, this Craft Bar event and the opening reception of the show will converge in a Corita-themed valentine project and opening party.
Join the San Francisco Center for the Book and use custom rubber stamps to embellish letterpressed notecards and envelopes with Corita’s iconic love imagery, all to the sound of live music by local heartthrobs, Magic Magic Roses. Letterpress cards are kindly provided by San Francisco Center for the Book, stationery provided by Hello Lucky and drinks provided by Trumer Pils. Don’t forget to take inspiration from the gallery and Museum gift shop while you explore the creative process. Craft Bar is totally free for this month!
When: Thursday, February 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. PT at MOCFA.
Where: Museum of Craft and Folk Art at 51 Yerba Buena Lane, San Francisco, CA
