We're currently experiencing an issue with the server responsible for sending email notifications for Etsy (which you receive when transactions occur, when you have a receive a convo and are set to be notified about it, when you register for an account and should receive a confirmation email, etc). We're actively working on the fix for this issue now.
The email that you should have received has not been lost. Once this issue is fixed, you should receive any email that has been delayed all at approximately the same time.

Any new email notifications from this point forward should be successful. We're working on clearing out the backlog of older notifications, I need to correct what I said previously and acknowledge that it may take a little while for you to receive email notifications intended to be sent while the server wasn't working. We're processing the backlog now, and we'll get those older notification emails out to you as soon as possible.
