This week we’re making card holders with the ladies from Brooklyn Craft Farm for Craft Night at the Etsy Labs! Join us for this evening of recycled paper crafting — whether you’re in Brooklyn, or anywhere in the world.
Live far away? Stop by for our weekly Craft Night in our online multi-user chat room, the Virtual Labs, for a live online demo at 5 p.m. ET, or in person at the Etsy Labs in Brooklyn anytime between 4-8 p.m. at 55 Washington Street, Suite 512 in Brooklyn, New York. (Click here to see what time 5 p.m. ET is in your hometown.) Craft Night is a time to make things, sharpen your craft skills and connect with fellow crafters.
Metro cards, credit cards, and business cards…They all need a home, so why not make it a cute one? In this eco-friendly workshop on Monday, June 21, Julie and Lou Lou from the Brooklyn Craft Farm will show us how to make adorable card holders from all types of recycled cardboard. Just choose your design — Tony the Tiger? Coco Pebbles? The lovely Land o’ Lakes lady? Postcards from Dollywood? — and we will create a durable one-of-a-kind card cozy. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own recycled cardboard if you have something that suits your fancy!
Brooklyn Craft Farm is the creative duo of Julie Fischoff and Loulou Williams. They offer a variety of craft classes for kids and adults and firmly believe that anyone, not just “creative types,” can make amazing things. At Brooklyn Craft Farm the goal is for you to learn, have fun, and feel empowered to take on future crafting adventures! Brooklyn Craft Farm is located at 160 7th Street, Studio 208, Gowanus, Brooklyn. More information can be found here.

- Recycled cardboard
- Clear contact paper
- 1/8″ hole punch
- Plastic lacing (rexlace)
- Paper clips or binder clips
- Card cozy template
