Good news! As of this week, the Etsy Teams have grown to include 10,000 sellers!
Here are some stats on the Etsy Teams, as of the week of March 24, 2008:
- There are almost 250 Etsy Teams.
- 42 US states have Etsy Teams, and some states have as many as 6 Teams!
- Between 5-9 new Etsy Teams are formed each week (about one per day!)
- More than half of the Etsy Teams are Global Teams – Teams formed of sellers all over the world, united by craft or interest.
- Etsy Teams can be found on four continents.
- The Etsy Teams program was introduced about two years ago.
- You can browse through the Etsy Teams Blogring to keep up to date on some of the most active Teams!

About 10 of my team members are all selling together at a craft show tomorrow and promoting ETSY big time. Go Disciples of Etsy- Oklahoma Etsy Street Team. We look to have another 10 or so that aren't selling, just stopping by to say Hi. I love my team!

My bestfriend and I are joining together. All the members of Etsy want to watch it grow and be a part of it so we should do our part and join a team to learn more on how to spread the word and advertise whats going on. Thanks for the article, I hope the numbers keep piling high!

I lead the Cottage Style Street Team--we are brand new but we boast over 100 members already and get new members every week! YES!!

andreapratt - not by any means! there are teams all over the world, and anyone can join a "global" team, meaning sellers united not by location, but by interest, who meet up virtually. it's so nice to see so many positive comments about teams! etsy teams are amazing!
