Never has one engineer had so many talented people do his portrait…aflame. Haim (reclining above) is feeling very loved.
Haim could not choose just one winner for the Haim on Fire contest. He wept while we forced a decision out of him (“it’s my contest and I’ll cry if I want too!”). So we let him pick three winners:
Tofu Nutloaf’s Haimbot 3000.
Haim says: “The bot is a complete interpretation which is very me, but at the same time not me at all.”
Totemic’s Ghost in the Machine.
Haim says: “When i saw most of them i thought ‘that’s cool’ but for that one i was like ‘woah’.”
Winners will be getting an Etsy gift box each. Special thanks to abitabite for organizing the whole thing!
Haim is overwhelmed and touched by the entries to the Haim on Fire contest. All of the engineers and the rest of the Etsy team enjoyed watching — and smelling — the entries roll in. Especially the cinnamon fragrances that have been wafting through the Labs. Matt and my office smelled like fireballs for an entire week. We got this crazy package from KarmaRox with Haim’s head made from a recycled soccer ball. It was packed in a box filled with those super hot candy fireballs!
Thanks to all who sent in the entries and shared their Haimations with the world. You guys are amazing.
