Excellent! I've been raving about the genius of Etsy for over a year, from the concept to the design, from the platform to the support of all the creative people involved & selling...so hearing more from Rob directly makes me even more proud to be a part of such an amazing venue. Thank you for sharing this!

this made me think of flickr now, and if they're happily owned by yahoo. i got to meet Caterina and her husband at the "goodbye flickr" party they threw in Vancouver a few years ago, really great people. Everyone was making the move to California for the "switch" and seemed excited. thanks for sharing this interview!

Wow...this is so totaly impressive to me you have no idea. What a genius idea in the way this company is built and also valued by you Rob. Appreciate it! And loving the fact to be a part of it as a seller.

What makes ETSY successful is the people behind it who are PASSIONATE about it. Not people who are in it just for the money. Thank you Rob!

Rob, you should teach a class at the etsy labs about growing your business - I think there are some sellers who might be ready to g-off!

Is there somewhere I can read this interview? I still can not get the sound on my freaking computer to work- some kind of interference- but I'll be damned if I can figure it out! :(

Interesting indeed! I like what you said at the end about the not knowing; it's what keeps it interesting and wakes you up in the morning...
