Remodelista, the authorative sourcebook for interior design and home remodeling, is always on the lookout for a good Etsy find, whether it’s industrial lighting from Ind Lights or driftwood utensils from LJF Ceramics. Remodelista contributing editor Justine Hand, a perpetual Etsy sleuth with a penchant for updated New England style, pulled together a list of Etsy nautical finds to add summer accents to the home.

One of the easiest ways to spruce up a home is with seasonal accents, so when summer rolls around you can find us decorating tables with bowls of stone fruit and pretty foraged flora. My summers are spent on the Cape with two young children and we’re often at the beach picking shells and stones, much of which makes it way home providing instant summer decor. If you’re looking for some beach-inspired pieces for the home, check out our great Etsy finds below.

Featuring real water-worn stones on a hand-stitched hemp and cotton board, Pilosale’s portable tic tac toe is perfect for rainy days at the coastal cottage or as a take-along to the beach.

Each summer I look forward to the crisp freshness of line-dried laundry. This year, I think I’ll secure my summer whites to the line with complementary clothespins — hand-stained in cool navy by Olive Manna.

Add a dash of playful nautical to your next summer party with Timeless Paper’s marine life place cards (including these jaunty shrimp). Fully customizable, they are great for any sized fete by the sea.

When I was little, I used to make tiny toy boats out of walnut shells and tooth picks. Made by Manos, out of Liverpool, England, has elevated my childhood hobby to art with his delicate bone china shells and hand-painted sails. I can picture them sailing along the top shelf or mantel in my cottage living room.

With their rich patina, vintage nautical prints like Atomic Photo’s reproduction of Long Island Sound in 1896 are a great way to celebrate the maritime traditions of your seaside home. They can be employed alone as an accent piece or even used to paper an entire wall.

Sporting bold graphics from recycled sails, Reiter 8’s bags and cushions pay homage to the sea, but in an updated, modern way.

In sophisticated navy, LBC Paper’s cupcake toppers remind of sailing flags. Perfect for a summertime party by the sea.

Poised to capture a gentle summer breeze, Pigeon Toe Ceramics’ delicate chimes conjure images of sun-bleached sand dollars on a string.

Update your coastal cottage with nod to mid-century modern. With organic forms and stony hues, One and Many’s ceramics are equally at home in country or town.

Great collection of nautical wares...my fav is Adatine's whale soft sculpture! And the sailboats and the chimes are so clean and fresh feeling too. I live near a couple of beautiful beaches but don't get out there enough. Tried this past weekend but the holiday tourist traffic was too much. I'll go soon on a quiet weekday and get some inspiration from the sun, sea, and sand!

I really love the nautical finds. The navy clothespins made me smile - nothing like the memory of smelling fresh, line dried laundry. Really enjoyed your finds!
