I love a good costume party, and Halloween is the perfect opportunity to go all out and dress up. I put a lot of thought into what I choose to wear, and I often agonize over my costume for months leading up to the event.

But not everyone wants to put so much brain power into one little costume, so I’ve made it a step easier for you with printable animal masks for your little ones — all you have to do is print them off! Depending on how involved you want your kids to be, you can leave the mask as is or add embellishments. The rest of the costume is up to you. You can keep it simple by dressing in one color or create a full on costume.

You will need:

Chipboard or cardboard for backing
Glue stick
Embellishments (pom poms, gold rings, paint)

Tape

Step 1: Print off the templates. There is a giraffe, elephant, and panda.

Step 2: Paste the templates onto cardboard or chipboard if you want to make them stronger.

Step 3: Cut them out.

Step 4: If you want to, have the kids add embellishments to the masks like pom poms to the giraffe ears or gold rings to the elephant ears for earrings. Get creative!

Step 5: Attach a dowel to the back of the mask with tape as a way to hold up the mask.
