Summertime has finally hit Portland and all I want to do is lounge around in my backyard, plant some flowers and have a yummy cocktail at the end of the day — with fresh mint from the garden. We just bought our house and the yard is still a work in progress, so I compiled some fun stuff from Etsyland that would make our outdoor space the perfect place to spend a summer day. Hopefully some of these goodies would be a great fit for your yard/patio/rooftop as well!
For our patio, I would love a cute little vintage bistro table like this one from The Vintage Supply Co — it’d be so bright on a gloomy Portland day! And on top we could set a pretty blue ball jar from Vintage Jane filled with flowers from the garden, and around it set these nautical style candle holders from Green Cricket. I’d have to find some white patio chairs and then could use these pretty outdoor pillows by Nenavon to add some comfort.
And for some patio decoration, we could have a plant stand, like this vintage one from Magark, and some planters from Haven Vintage, both in yummy minty green. And in them I’d plant some colorful succulents from Succulents Galore — I love their beautiful forms!
We could eat breakfast out in the morning air and sip coffee from LoucheLab’s teacups. I’d flip through a magazine and wear this adorable hat from Tree and Kimball to keep the sun out of my eyes. For lunch we’d eat piled-high sandwiches and serve them on these Melmac plates from icanhaskitsh. And of course, we’d need some lemonade, served with tons of ice in this pitcher from Jadite Kate.
After lunch we’d sleep off our food coma in a chairs like these from Diantiques — they have a removable footrest, too cool! And these little cocktail hour glasses from Lagelle would do me just fine with something cold and rummy inside.
