Tell us a bit about yourself.
Dawn & family, Sedro Woolley, Wa. We love working at home because we get to spend more time with our family. We have been building our family business since the early 1990’s. We have gone through several iterations and finally settled into this groove. We do continue to develop other ideas and trial them on Etsy.

The search for peace and the buddhist ideal of the reduction of suffering brings inspiration.

Any tips for selling handmade stuff?
Stick with it! If it is important enough you will eventually scale the learning curve and move ever closer to making a living at making things you love.
Apart from creating things, what do you do?
Walk in the forest, Yoga, read, crochet, sew, garden,
How can Etsy be improved? Any feature requests?
I’d would like to see some sort of interface for tracking the progress of sales, perhaps a sales record with checkboxes for items paid, address imported from etsy or paypal, amount and date paid, date shipped, checkboxes for items shipped, grouping of items according to “stage” (ordered, paid, shipped)
What is your favorite color?
Purple, red, blue, in that order.
