What first made you want to become an artist?

disdain for authority, the 9 to 5, fluorescent

lighting, cubicles, useless college degrees

vintage pattern browsing, street style, the classic,

the trendy, the 2 am idea, the perfect mistake, the

stumble upon

What handmade possession do you most cherish?

a pink western shirt sewn by my mom in high school

home ec with her and my dad’s initials embroidered

on the pocket
