Rave review: Take it from one satisfied shopper

“Love this necklace and have been wearing it ever since I received it! It is dainty and light around the neck, yet feels well built and solidly crafted. The opal has a lot of fire in it and matches perfectly with the mellow tone of the gold. Shipping was very fast for being custom made and the length is perfect. It’s very comfortable and I appreciated the pretty packaging. Thank you!” — KH

Seller spotlight: Meet Heidi Girard of Liesel Love

“I’ve always been inspired by the sky—I love stars and the moon. I picked opal as the stone for my moon necklace because, like stars, each one is unique. Since it’s solid 14K gold, it won’t tarnish or change color, and the chain is laser-soldered directly onto the moon pendant, giving it a light feel and eliminating the need for jump rings. I think what people love most about this design is that it can be worn every day—it goes with any outfit and is easy to layer with other necklaces. This piece is one of Liesel Love’s most popular items, so I try to always have some made and ready to ship. ” — Heidi Girard

What a beautiful treasure to give as a gift! Love your diamond and opal moon! In the past, crescent moon jewelry was given to a sweetheart as a token of love especially Victorians who wore them on their honeymoon. It's one of the oldest symbols in our history and certainly one that will stay with us.
