In honor of this year’s graduates of the Rhode Island School of Design, Etsy is pleased to announce two exciting opportunities. On Wednesday, June 1, we’re presenting a panel for RISD alumni, entitled “New Opportunities to Bring Products to Market,” at the Etsy Labs. This talented panel will consist of Etsy Seller Education Manager Danielle Maveal, a.k.a. daniellexo; Cindy Au, Community Director at Kickstarter; and Gaz Brown, Head of Design at Quirky. We’ll be discussing the ins and outs of these online business models for artists, inventors and designers.

Each year, RISD gives each graduate an Artrepreneur Kit, and this time Etsy is making an appearance. We’re pleased to welcome RISD graduates into the fold of alumni and the Etsy community! If you’re an alum or student, join the RISD Etsy Team. 2011 graduates are also invited to apply for a special RISD + Etsy fellowship, where the graduate with the most promising shop will be selected to attend the Hello Etsy Summit in Berlin.
We wish the RISD students, and all grads, the best in their new creative endeavors!
