UK Edition: Bloom and Grow

Etsy.com handmade and vintage goods

Perhaps the most famous gardening event in the world, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, begins in London tomorrow. The five-day show by the Royal Horticultural Society is an inspiring event to visit, crammed corner to corner with every kind of botanical display you can imagine.

Many design their gardens especially for the show, which vary from quaint to urban to downright quirky. The floral marquee is considered the centrepiece of the show, while the sell-off on the last day gives any green-fingered types a chance to take away their very own piece of the event to tend.

In honour of my love for this annual celebration of plant life, I’ve plucked my favourite themes from past shows and teamed them with items from the flourishing Etsy garden.
