Etsy App Gallery and Team
In Etsy’s app gallery, you can find new apps from the Etsy Developer Community. Every app is linked to an Etsy member profile, so you can find out a little bit about the person behind the app. We’ve also started an Etsy Apps Team where you can discuss your favorite apps, talk about what apps you’d like to see and ask questions of the developers. Explore the app gallery to find apps to help with some shop tasks. Check out a few of our favorites below:
What’s the basic idea of the application?
FotoFuze is a product photography enhancement engine. We work to help your photos stand out from the crowd, putting a professional polish on your photos with just a click. Best of all, it’s 100% free! For an Etsy seller, you’ll benefit from our tight integration with Etsy. Along with our trademark image cleanup service, we offer the ability to create, update, draft, copy and renew your listings from our site — and much more.
How do you use it?
First, find a flat white surface, such as a bed sheet, and place the product you want to photograph on it. Take some photos of your item, and upload them to FotoFuze. Once your photos are uploaded, you can use the highlighter tool to select your product from the background. Once you’ve selected your product, FotoFuze will go about cleaning up your photo. Like magic, your photos will look great! You can also upload the cleaned-up photo directly to Etsy using FotoFuze.
Are there any costs to use it?
FotoFuze is 100% free. Charging for the service would go against some of our founding principles. We believe that it is not only possible to be successful while being free, but that you can make good money while doing it too. We currently do some small, non-intrusive advertisements and accept donations to help pay the bills.
What should a member do if there’s a bug or a problem?
You can email us at email@example.com, or by clicking “Help” on the bottom right corner of any page on our website and we will get back to you right away. Our business ethos is to make sure that everyone gets personal attention and is treated like a VIP.
Josh Averny, co-founder of WiseStamp, explains how you can use it to market your listings via email.
Many Etsy shop owners are on the lookout for better ways to promote their shops and bring their listings to the attention of buyers. If you’ve worked hard to create a great listing, why should it be such a challenge to market it? This is why we created the Etsy Email App for WiseStamp.
With our app you can easily create your own branded email signature, linking to your Etsy shop. It even updates automatically to show your latest listing. Every email you send will allow the recipient to buy or learn more about your listing from inside the email itself. You can send emails as you always do, and the Etsy Email App will promote your Etsy shop and listings for you.
Setup takes about two minutes. Download the app and click the “Install” button. Then, enter your Etsy username. Once you’ve set up your Etsy signature, you can add your additional contact info and social profiles. Your signature will automatically be inserted into popular webmail clients, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL and more.
The Etsy Email App is free, and over 200,000 people use WiseStamp every day. More than 200 million emails have been sent by WiseStamp users. If you have any technical issues, our help center can help you resolve them.
Our users have found creative and sometimes even surprising ways to use the Etsy Email App. One of our favorite stories is of a mom who signs her emails with “the link below is from my son’s store” and features his latest listings. We are very proud of our users’ testimonials, and receive constant feedback from bloggers and users. You can read what they have to say on our buzz page — and if you like our app, please let your friends know!
