Etsy Guide to SEO

Attention, sellers! The Etsy Guide to SEO is here!

UPDATE: Daniellexo has made this handy video from Rand’s first Online Lab chat. We suggest watching it over at Vimeo, where you can see the screenshots a little bigger.

[The following was originally published on September 24, 2009.]

SEOmoz, the Search Engine Optimization consultants we’ve been working with, have put together this handy document for sellers. It’s full of great tips and insights into how to enhance your shop for search engines and improve your rankings. SEO is an evolving process, so it’s possible there will be updates to this guide. We will bump up the post when this occurs.

Please download the PDF file of the Etsy Guide to SEO here.

(Note: The file is approximately 2.0 MB and may take some time to download. If this is the case, please right-click on the link and save the document to your computer.)

Additionally, we will be continuing a series of three live online workshops in our Online Labs with Rand from SEOmoz. The schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, October 1 at 5:30 p.m. ET
  • Monday, October 12 at 7 p.m. ET
  • Wednesday, October 28 at 4 p.m. ET

Click here to see what time the Online Labs are in your hometown.

These Online Labs will be an overview of what’s been outlined in the Etsy Guide to SEO. So mark your calendars! We will also do our best to record one of the sessions and post a link to that video back here.  So check back at the end of October if you can’t make the scheduled sessions.

Thanks!
