If you don't mind a little shameless self-promotion - this was the very first thing I created for Etsy. It started me off on my whole line. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7420620

I crochet many scarves and I was actually just about to get started on a cape-type thing but while I was in the store, I thought I was going into labor and went home. Haha, I'm such a paranoid. I've still got another month to go! lol. I guess I'll be going back to the store tonight...

Thank goodness. We love capes! We just moved vintage capes highlighted in our fall line-up to our etsy store. We were beginning to think knowone else found them quite as charming. Glad to know we're not alone...(and perhaps the adoration is a' growin!)

Beautiful scarves & capes! I wish more woolen fabric came wider than 60" so I could make my scarves longer. Cutting on the length just doesn't work as well - too much waste & prices would skyrocket. I heart GrandmaWasAFloozy's work.

Funny, I thought long-long scarves were *last* year and that the scarflette was *this* year's hot trend...especially here on Etsy...especially because I received a gorgeous one as a Christmas gift (from Etsy seller Beaky) and every time i wear it I am stopped and asked where on earth did I get such a cool/neat/nice/clever scarf(lette) and also made a few of my own to give as gifts and those people had never seen anything like it before and LOVE their small scarves and are also constantly stopped and questioned....so I'm thinking short and sweet is the truly new hot trend in scarf lengths this season! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=8978152 http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=8921347 http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=8015212
