Etsy’s community of makers, designers and curators have once again come together to Make For Good and create brighter futures for girls around the world.
Inspired by Plan International Australia’s Because I Am A Girl campaign and its mission to empower girls worldwide, hundreds of Etsy sellers around Australia and New Zealand have been stitching and sketching, knitting and nailing, printing and painting to create a bespoke collection that reflects the theme of ‘creating brighter futures for girls around the world’.
At least 20% of the value of each item featured in the Make For Good collection will be donated to Because I Am A Girl, supporting projects that help promote the equal rights of all children, helping lift girls around the world - and their entire communities - out of poverty.
We are so proud to announce that, from today, you can purchase Make For Good items. By shopping the Make For Good collection you can help local Etsy sellers reach their goal of raising funds to improve the economic wellbeing – and brighten the futures – of young women and girls in Sri Lanka by providing decent employment opportunities and sustainable livelihood.

Last year’s campaign - an Etsy and Plan Australia first - raised more than $30,000, helping hundreds of girls and young women in some of the world’s poorest communities learn new skills and get access to support and opportunities.
