We are very pleased to share with you the official launch of our collaboration between Etsy and Melbourne Museum. Earlier in the year we put the call out to our our creative community from across the country submit a product design inspired by the current Wild exhibition at the Southern Hemisphere’s largest Museum which includes over 600 animals from all over the world.
Our community rose to the challenge and we are proud to present the works of over 20 Etsy sellers from across the country, which are now available online or direct from the Melbourne Museum gift shop.
Along with this collection of wild products, visitors to Melbourne Museum will also get a chance to express their own creativity at a pop-up making space from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 August. Kids and adults alike are invited to come along and decorate custom made Australian animal masks designed by Etsy sellers. Use your hand decorated mask to show off your wild side in a jungle-themed photo space and go in the running for a chance to win one of three $500 gift packs.
To help us launch this wild collection of fashion of accessories, sisters Stef and Jess from How Two Live have taken a walk on the wild side behind the scenes at the museum. The duo have hand selected their favourites and shot them in the mood and mystery at the museum after dark.
